Pompano Beach High School will host their sixth International Summit January 19-27, 2023. Over 120 people from around the world will fly in for this event. Guests include administrators, teachers, and students from Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, Germany, India, Ireland, Mexico, Nepal, Peru, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkiye, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Yilan City and Zimbabwe will participate in the summit.

This event will develop cultural awareness in the field of education, with special focus on language acquisition and technology, increase knowledge about the United States and visiting schools, and establish lasting relationships between all the participants. Opportunities will include teaching and learning in cooperation with Pompano Beach High School educators, visiting a local university, and sharing cultural practices within the community. Over 1500 people will be participating both virtually and in person as educators and foreign dignitaries discuss issues in education from specific cultural perspectives.

The Pompano Beach High School family will be hosting the students and faculty in their homes to enrich the international guest’s experience. Students and staff will have the opportunity to share American culture through leisure activities and routine family engagement.

Pompano Beach High School is a high-achieving educational institution with a magnet theme of International Affairs with Information Technology. The school is located in Broward County, Florida in the southeast region of the state of Florida in the United States.
